Cleaning Tips for the Holidays

Cleaning Tips for the Holidays

The holiday season is the busiest and most wonderful time of the year! We brave the hustle and bustle of the crowds to shop for food and the perfect gifts for our loved ones, and you may be wondering when you will have time to get your home ready to welcome friends and family.

Hosting for the holidays is not an easy job. There is much decorating, cooking, organizing, and, of course, cleaning!

But where do you even start?

Focus on areas that are easily viewable by guests but aren’t likely to get dirty again, such as windows and baseboards, then move on to the bedrooms, master suites, hallways, and bathrooms. Next, move on to the areas of your home that your visitors or guests will stay in, such as the living room, dining room, and guest bathrooms. Finally, move on to the kitchen and prepare for holiday cooking (this will save you time and energy for other activities).

If you are short on time, then focus on guest bathrooms and the areas where your visitors or guests will stay. Then move onto the kitchen and the areas where food will be served.

Some of the products that will help you for a quick cleaning and will leave your home shining and smelling party ready:

– Vinegar

– Baking soda

– Degreaser

– White sponge

– Your favorite holiday scents

If this is the busiest time of your year, preparing your home for the holidays is difficult to do alone.
